I can, there's an old convent, very near where I live, with a small church. The bells are ringing, right now. Love this sound! :)

Half your luck. We have no nearby bells here. But I reckon bells are almost worth keeping religion going for - on Sundays, anyway.

There are 2 churches in town that play their bells. One sounds almost recorded or digitized, though. I love them both! The church with the bells is about 2 miles or so from here, but on some days we can hear them. Whenever I'm downtown with the kids, and I hear the bells chiming, I shush them so that we can all listen and appreciate the beauty of it. Many people around us, though, don't seem to even notice. I'm so glad you enjoy yours!

Yes, there is a big church a few blocks down the road on the corner. I can hear the bells all the time from that church. On Sunday's the bells play hymns. I got to admit it is soothing.

I used to live near a church and would hear the bells often. I do miss that. Now it's random gunfire...lol j/k

wow, i know how you feel...i lived in this small town and the town clock would always ring every hour and half hour...i could hear the bells from where i lived...it was nice...

Not at 130 am, but during daylight hours I hear the bells from three churches throughout the day.

how lucky are you, i'm turning green, I don't live near the church, I live near the ocean in aussie land I think our night is your day and visa versa maybe some one could let me know Have a great day enjoy the bells

There's a Church behind where I live but they are selling their facility They don't have Church bells anyway.

Sometimes...on sundays...from the church, or when someone dies and they bring that person to church..they ring the bells.
