I thought the interview with him on Sunday AM this morning on the BBC was well done and he came across well.
This is a lot to face in your first day in office so to speak.
The interviewer tried to get him talking about Cameron and the Tories and he quite swiftly made it clear he did not want to discuss such issues at a time like this and his main concern was for the safety of the British people.
You can't fault him for that can you?
People need to wake up and realise politics isn't a popularity contest. It not about how someone looks or sounds or how white their teeth are when they flash yet another cheesy grin. It is a about substance and policy and trustworthiness. Now I'm not even a Labour person but I have more trust in Gordon than I ever did in Tony.

I don't call something that has been around for ten years 'fresh'. Would you call a jar of jam in the fridge 'fresh' if it had been around for ten years? What if I steamed the label off and put a new one it? Would that alter the fact the jam inside the jar was now covered in mold, stinking, and would make you sick if you ate it. That's Gordon Brown's politics.

Indeed sir! I found if I roll up a doobie and time my drugs just right I can sit and (sometimes even) laugh at him on BBC when he delivers one of those painful political spiels (really - even if you don't advocate drug use - it sure helps) this is also an applicable application when watching George W on CNN. By the way, do you notice that Mr. Brown has an uncanny resemblance to Monty Python's - Terry Jones? I keep expecting him to go into a Spam skit!!

listen to what the man is saying and forget what he looks like.
i have never voted labour but Brown seems honest and has got a good track record.
who do you want to run the country , an intelligent man or somebody who looks good and will promise the earth to get into power.
get used to him. i feel he will be around for a long time.

A nano second....and that's if he sneaks on TV without me knowing............just pops up so to speak..because if I know he's coming on I leave the room, change channel, be really childish and put my fingers in my ears and make the most stupid noises....like you do when your a child.....and don't want to hear your mummy telling you a secret....anyone remember doing that?
Perhaps when we see him we should all do it...might make the man sound almost mute....LOL!

I suppose we're all being a bit unfair by not giving him a chance to speak in his new role. However, I'm with the majority. I heard enough of him while he was PM in waiting and he didn't impress me then so as soon as his face appears, over I go.
