Here's how you solve the problem in one fell swoop. Call her up. Ask her to pick up two items the next time she's on her way over. Tell her you need some GoJo hand cleaner and some Mr. Clean eraser sponges.
When she asks why you need them, tell her. Use the GoJo and the eraser sponges to get the nail polish marks removed without hurting the finish on the tub.

Well I would not be nasty to her if I were you this does not solve any problems, just remind her daily for a week that you are not fond of having to see or clean up the mess in the bath and that you would not think of messing up her bath if you was staying at her house, she should soon get the message and be more considerate of your home after that time has lapsed, if she does not then I would explain to her that if she is not going to be more considerate of your belongings then she will not be able to take a bath in your home.

Here's how to remove the nail polish marks, pour a small amount of Nail polish remover on a cloth and gently rub off the polish, then wash with soap and water immediately to avoid any damage to your bath or you can use this method: Nail polish

Sponge with polish remover or banana oil. Wash. If stain remains, sponge with denatured alcohol to which a few drops of ammonia have been added. Wash again Good Luck !.

I would'nt use nail polish remover or any other solvent based chemical on a plastic bath, stick to the creams! But you have to let your girl know what you are doing, do it while she is in, and when she asks what you're doing, you are cleaning nail polish off the bath. If she is half intelligent, she will get it, if not, get rid.lol

Use a little of her nail varnish remover to take the varnish off. I can also suggest you tell to your girlfriend . As you are living together you should talk about like´s and dislikes. It´s small thing´s like this that causes arguments. So sit down and talk about things. You are doing no favours to her by cleaning up her mess. Once you start cleaning up be-hind people , you´ll be doing it all the time

She should have more respect for the house than to make messes like that. Nail polish remover should take it off. Ask her to clean it up and to refrain herself from making these messes. You are right to keep your house clean and to be proud of it.
