Yes it's normal - your body just needs time to regulate. This happens to many girls. If it continues when you turn 18 then it's time to see a doctor, who can give you pills to help regulate your periods. Hope this helped.

Yes, it is normal for some women to have very light periods (something I wish I could have experienced on a regular basis). When starting out with periods it is also normal to sometimes skip a period because the body is still adjusting to the changes going on inside of it.

If you are still having problems with periods skipping then I would recommend seeing your dr for further evaluation. Also, please talk to your mom about this issue as well so that she knows what's going on and be able to help you keep a closer eye on the situation.
