I think he retired from acting following a series of strokes. He still pops up sometimes in The Royal though?

I remember him in the days of the 70's in Oh No It's Selwyn Foggit (think that's right), brilliant show and him signing autographs in Carrefour in Caerphilly in the early 80's. Brilliant character, enjoyed all his work.

Oh I love that adorable character in 'Heartbeat'! I think you still hear him on Radio Leicester on Sundays from 14:00-16:00.
