It certainly should.
But don't count upon our liberal friends to pick up the cue. They prefer to live in an alternate reality of self-delusion

We should never question weather or not terrorism is a true threat. Terrorism has been around since biblical times. Granted, they didn't have the explosive devices they have now, they still had ways to impose terror on select groups. It will always be a threat and we always have to be vigilant no matter what the opposition says.

Definitely. In the past week or so wasn't there a terrorist threat that attacks would target England, Germany, and the US?
Possibly it was the piece where there was a "graduation" from terrorist school. Sounds like they are making good on the threat.
I have no doubt we will see more and if we weaken our stance, we will see many more.

Yes, but that premise was never in denial. Some Republicans like to form the straw-man argument that Democrats and others in opposition to them deny that premise, but no, we don't. In fact, it's the Republican administration which has failed severely in dealing with terrorism. They haven't followed through with more than half of the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission, we haven't funded Homeland Security enough, (which speaking of Homeland Security, it was first proposed by Democrats yet rejected several times before it was accepted and trumpeted as a Republican idea), et cetera...
What we do believe differently is this notion that you can fight terrorism by fighting in Iraq, a country that harbors far more terrorists after we invaded than it did before.

The recent attacks in the UK, re-enforce how wrong Bush is when he says we "are fighting them over there, so we don't have to fight them here. There have always been terrorist attacks in Europe. This isn't new. The US needs to protect itself and it can do this utilizing the special forces, gathering and disseminating intelligence, and continuing the covert ops of the FBI, CIA, and NSA. Using regular army to fight insurgents in the field is an ineffective policy against terrorism and these recent attacks have made that plainly obvious.

Terrorist acts are crimes and they are a threat to everyone, the free and the un-free. I hope the US has consulted British terrorism experts. They learned a lot during the years they protected the UK from the Irish terrorists.

It should, but unfortunately half the country is too busy bashing the US for the not surrendering to Al Qaeda to notice.

Yes, it is.
However, the dems will follow in the footsteps of their greatest icon, Clinton, and deny its importance while sweeping it under the rug as though it never happened.
You would think after 9/11, they would catch on but, not a chance.

It shows that a lax government that DID not control the Islam population early is paying for it now.
