Of course! It's normal for a boy of any age to get an erection. You can get one at any time, it doesn't always have to be sexual. Don't worry, there is nothing wrong.

infants can get erections so yeah it's normal for an 8 year old.

NO!!! at this age an erection is not NOT normal!!!!!!!!
u should see a docter imedietly IMEDIETLY!!!!!!
u could suffer long term penis problems,and it will WILL fall off!!!!!!
