It makes me uncomfortable for some reason... but I still manage to say "thank you" and give a sheepish smile.

First, I blush a lot. Then I get a huge smile on my face and thank the person. I absolutely love being complimented, it always brightens my day. It's so funny what a few silly words can do.

Not very good at receiving praise. When is from my kids I bast in their praise. Anyone else I get a little embarrased and say thank you and all, but don't quite know how to take it.

I don't like when people praise me...I just smile. I don't like attention too much >_<

I actually don't handle it well. I get embarrassed. Once I was so surprised in front of a group at work that I cried.

At first, I'm a little startled and freeze up. Then I compose myself and smile and say Thank you.

..I purely say thank-you and proceed on..What Pam reported at that's extremely genuine of such countless human beings too..It took me an extremely lengthy time, to in user-friendly terms say thank-you and not something greater or maybe longer to have self belief it for myself..

Usually say something self-effacing and then say "thank you."
