You are sooo right. I think the only people that would like to change who they are are people with unexcepting families or friends. I am happy as hell I was born a lesbian.

Quite simply put, it is a straight world. All and I mean all the rights and priviledges are bestowed upon hetero couples. It is a much easier life than being ridiculed, made fun of and mocked. Why would you choose these things? Things are taken for granted and automatically assumed when you are a homosexual. It is an intense world, people fear what they don't understand. Society as a whole puts enormous pressure on homosexuals as it is, just to blend it and lead an everyday "normal" life. Of course we would take the easy way out. It would save us heartache and turmoil in the future. I love the person I am and cannot change that, but neither can I change the people or enviroment around me, if the enviroment refuses to change.

I'm straight, and while I'm happy that many of you are comfortable with yourself (I am an ally you know ^_^), I think the reason a certain percentage of homosexuals say that is because society isn't exactly accepting of the idea at the moment.

Everyone is looking for the easy way out these days. The ones that would say that have never felt secure in who they are or feel that they can make a change but being happy and proud with who they are.

I have gay friends and they would NOT choose to be straight as they are perfectly happy with who they are.

Who are you speaking to that say they'd rather be straight? I'm sure you could get some sort of commission by sending them to some insane ex-gay camp. Just kidding, of course. Sorta.

I can not immagine my life if I were not gay. There were a lot of challenges but I sincerely believe the gifts and experiences really were worth them.
Yeah for Gay!

I LURV being lesbian. sometimes it's sad when you have a crush on someone who's straight, but there's always hope of finding the right partner.
