I just turned 20, I look 15,16; im not bad looking either.
I been wanting to act since Richie Rich and Terminator 2 and Home Alone movies came out .. but my parents been always about going to university and getting good education and such, others like me playing drums is just a hobby I wouldnt dare tellin them my dream is to become a drummer; same thing goes for acting.
Im from london ontario, but i go to university in windsor so im their most of the time; the closest place to go for auditions and agents is Toronto, 4 hours away from windsor. I don have a job and it costs so much money to take the bus there and I don have a car.
How do i start acting ? what should i do first ? how can i do it behind my parents back until i score an audition and maybe after a million auditions ill score a lil part in a movie and surprise them .
I really wana do this !!

look into getting experience first, thats probably going to be by joining amateur or community theatre - ask around local arts centres / theatres etc for contacts.

Then, start looking for a reputable casting agency, not sure who you would contact in canada, but as a general rule most agencies that are reputable do not ask you to pay upfront to join, instead they take a little commission for whatever wages you get from with that they find for you.

The internet - sites like Mandy.com etc, have a lot of film auditions, mainly for student and festiavl films which are one way of getting into film. When you go for an audition you find online, always take a friend, and never hand over any money!

Isnt there any student-actingclub at university.....or just some local acting/theatre-group in your city just to get some experience and see if you really wanna do it,those movies you like werent all FUN making you know,to be an actor is a lot of hard work, patience and ofcourse you must have great talent........You mustnt do it behind your parents back,it takes courage but ofcourse you can convince them, see it as some acting-experience.....how and what to tell them......goodluck.Why dont you get some p/t waiter-job thats what most actors have been doing before they got famous

Cogito is proper. Some actresses and actors don't begin to their mid and past due thirties. You are at the proper course via coming into categories. I get very worn out of the volume of children who ask what corporations they must signal up for whilst they've under no circumstances taken a category or performed a local/group theater exhibit of their existence. Good Luck!
