yesterday they were at 700 feet, so i couldnt have my lesson - is today any better ? Warwickshire area?

Your local National Weather Service has the answers to you question. One thing is that the base of the clouds are called ceiling, they use that termanology. If you have access to The Weather Channel on cable, your local on the 8s has that information as well.

It depends on what your planing on doing. What airport are you flying at and do you know the name? Such as here in Billings it is KBIL but in Laurel it is 6S8.
