I have a psycho fish (it's an albino something) and it's taking out all my fish! he's chomping at their fins.. and bullying them .. and has already killed 5 puffers, a shark, and an angel fish. It's driving me nuts! what can I do?
I've tried to get him out but he hides under this 5 lb. rock we have in there as a decoration.
He's absolutely crazy .. he has anger issues.
Can I maybe chop up some anti-dipressants into his fish food??

Is he an albino tiger barb maybe: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?pCatId=1002 This is what their natur is like. They're schooling fish and should be kept in groups of 5+, and even then you don't have any guarantees they'll leave the other fish alone.

Another possibility is that he's an albino oscar: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?pCatId=1094 and these aren't compatible with your fish either.

My advice would be to remove the other fish to a separate container (they might be easier to catch), then lower the water level so the bully doesn't have as much room to escape. Once you're able to catch him, put the others back and refil the tank. You can take the bully back to the store and exchange him for something more peaceful. The separate container can just be a clean bucker or plastic storage container that you rinse out.

BTW, puffers shouldn't be kept with the other fish you list either - you don't mention the species, but some require salt in their water as the mature, plus most puffers will become territorial and aggressive as they grow - even the dwarf puffer.

To see what species would be compatible with your remaining fish, try one of these links: http://www.timstropicals.com/Compatibility/NameResults.asp
http://www.elmersaquarium.com/h701elmers_freshwater_handbook.htm - you can get more info about any species listed within one of the communities by clicking on the name

Puffer Fish?! S-Sharks?! Angel Fish!! O_O How be is he?! He is Crazy! Put in a Pirannah to teach him a lesson! I'm not sure if it'll last in a Salt Water tank. But If A Shark Can't take him out. Maybe 3 Pirannahs can! Kill That sucker!!

Obviously in fish terms it's called an aggressive fish. Get the "thing" out of there.

You mean to tell me that a 5 lb. rock is stopping you from getting the fish out of the tank!!!

You got the rock in now get it out. What are you waiting for? One fish swimming round and round a 5 lb rock!

I've had to do the same thing. Guess who won. O course they're going to hide and swim around like the wind, but that doesn't mean you can't catch it. Think you're going to have to try a little harder.

When that feet has been accomplished go to the library and
get a couple of good books about fish. That's of course if
you inttend to continue on.

So get busy and do what you have to do before he picks another fish apart.

You better educate yourself about keeping fish.

if you want, you can take any remaining fish into a different tank so that they can't be harmed by the psycho fish of yours. So just get another tank and put the other fish for their safety
