First off don't listen to the people that said they will kill each other, or that you will kill the turtle.
While turtles do spend a lot of time underwater they require an area in the tank where they can climb out and heat themselves. Often this is done by lowering the water level a bit in the tank and creating a plateau with thick styrofoam and a ramp that the turtles can climb onto.
Now you should know that turtles are predatory and almost certainly they will try to eat the other fish in the tank. So your goldfish probably wouldn't survive.

no, they will eat your fish
You need for your turtle water half way of the tank and a basking place that she can get out of the water anytime she feels like it and you need a lid with a strong light what has to be on for at least 12 hours a day, and also get a pump
another thing the turtle needs is a special heater just for turtles for the wintermonths from october through april
Hope that helped

Absolutely!! We've done so for years. When turtles are young, they eat meat. When they're adults they only eat plants. I guess it depends on the size of your goldfish. If they're small, I'm not sure what will happen. We have 3 turtles and lots of goldfish and koi living in our pond in the backyard. The pond is about the size of a small hot tub. I guess just make sure your turtle is old enough, and give it plenty to eat!
We have one red eared slider and two painted turtles. Our baby painter has never chased the fish.
Also, make sure your turtle has a place to sun itself! Big rocks will do nicely.

depends...
the goldies will have to be bigger than the turtle's mouth, otherwise it'll eat yur fish...
my cousin has a tank with few goldies and a turtle...
turtles can actually hold their breath for long long time, and specially adapted to be underwater... though they still have to come to the surface...
it's fine if you wanna keep them together as buddies, but its best if you separate them once in a while, and give the turtle its own place once in a while, you know, so that it could sunbathe and breathe all the time....

sure, they're going to help save the tank sparkling, yet once you forget to do periodic water adjustments and upkeep, your tank gets nasty slightly swifter then without them. yet, i think, which you relatively desire to maintain your tank as on the brink of nature as you are able to for the turtle's sake. My son has a crimson eared slider and there are continuously a pair fish that survive interior the tank as quickly as we feed the turtle. i in my opinion relish their presence.

Do not put them in the same tank together. The turtle will chase the fish until it catches it and eat it.
