what happened to human rights for the non elite ?

1. Democracy and human rights are twin sisters and have to survive side by side. So, if you believe in democracy then you MUST believe in human rights too, whether it for elites or for under-privileged.
2. Majority of the countries in the world are poor and its citizens have been groomed on socialism, hence they enjoy elite bashing.
3. Elites are humans too, so they too have rights
4. Except for a few, most elites of today were born in ordinary families and by sheer dent of hard-work they are elite today.
5. If doctors, engineers, politicians, labours, employees etc. can work in group for their benefits, why can'y elites form groups for their benefit? So, there is nothing wrong if elites come forward for the human rights of fellow elites.
6. Elites are better placed in society financially. Due to their education (in most cases) and exposure and experience in almost all cases, they are in better position to carry on human rights work and thus pay back to the society from which they had derived so much.
7. It is the duty of the elites to uphold the cause of human rights and take care of those who can not themselves.
