Hmm....
I think the dumbest thing I ever said was to a friend of mine when we were talking about the moon versus states. She said which is closer the moon or florida.
I said...
Well you can't see Florida!
Tell me that wasnt the dumbest thing you've probably heard., yet, you cant help but laugh cause it was dumb and came from a brunnette at the same time.

The list is probably longer than I'd like to admit, but...

Just out of college, starting a new job, my boss at the time would help me out with phone calls when I didn't know how to answer. He'd take the phone off hold and say "This is Pete..."

A couple of months later, I was helping out a new hire. She asked me to answer a caller's question for her, so I proceeded to pick up the phone and say "This is Pete...." In case you haven't figured it out yet, my name is not Pete. The look I got from my coworker was priceless. I'm sure the look on my face was even better.

We were at a restaurant and the waitress came over to our table to take our order and she introduced herself and said "Hi my name is Tamara, my I take your order" She had a bit of an accent and when she said her name it sounded a little bit like "tommorrow" so I thought I would be funny and said " But we are hungry today".
She got the joke but apparently was in no mood.

When my fifth grade teacher explained that the inner layers of the earth were molten and solid, I asked her how it was possible for us to live there. Everyone laughed at me, but I seriously thought we lived INSIDE the earth, not on it.

it has to do with what I thought a female donkey was called. see, I thought since they call a male donkey a jack a** that maybe they called a female donkey a b**ch a**
so I asked my dad if that's what they were called. I will never live that down. my dad still laughs at me, and it's been like four years since I asked him that!!!!!
