Contact a legitimate modeling agency. There should be several with offices in Atlanta. Check how long they have been in business and check with the BBB. If they ask for money up front, get up and leave.

No, where you live doesn't help. It's pointless. Do you want to be a model? Do you think you can be a model? People tell me I can be a model too, but I don't want to be one so I do nothing about it. If you want to be one then try to, if not, then say thank you and think nothing of it.

"People" tell you?
Who are these "people" you speak of?
What is their credibility in the modeling industry.
Understand this, the modeling industry is brutal. You just don't take a few glamour shots and *poof* you're on the cover of Maxim.
Don't go by what "people" tell you what you should be. You should be what you know in your heart you were born to be.
If you don't know right now...that's fine, eventually you will discover your true reason and purpose.

i don't know. Atlanta good looks don't necessarily translate into New York or LA good looks. Give it a try and see what happens. Just don't throw away all other options thinking your so beautiful that you must make it.

You should probably try to not let it go to your head. If you do persue modeling, you will be very openly & rudely critiqued on your hair, face, skin, body type, legs, EVERYTHING. It's better if you wait until you feel you are comfortable with who you are, love it & are able to handle that kind of critizism which can bring ANY young, naive, newbie model to tears. :)

If you don't want to be a model, then ignore it. If you do, then try to be a model, but don't let the compliments go to your head :]
