About 3 days ago I woke up after having slept on my hand and I noticed that my thumb was getting poor circulation. I was hoping the problem would fix itself, but 3 days later and it is still getting poor blood circulation. I think its getting some blood as it isn't completely numb but it also feels partially numb. What can I do to maybe get the blood flowing again through it?

Also, if it comes to having to go to the doctor about the problem, what sort of doctor would be best for this kind of problem?

Assuming you do not have neuropathy or gout.

Stick your thumb in your mouth and suck on it.
Sure you could massage it with your other hand, but your mouth and tongue does a better job.

Hi! The bags under your eyes could be a sign of a vitamin deficiency. Sometimes just taking a multi vitamin a day can help with this sort of thing! For a really good quick fix, try the 'Garnier Eye Roll on' - it's a little pricey, but a few of my firends have used it and they says it works as a quick fix solution. But try not to rely on it as it uses caffiene! Hope this helps! xx

Rub it or put it in warm water. If you want it diagnosed by a doctor, first go to a General Practitioner (regular doctor)who will determine if the problem is circulation or nerves.

Numbness could be a result of nerve irritation. You probably irritated the median nerve through the carpal tunnel by the position you slept on your hand.

Keep the wrist in neutral (straight, supported if possible) and the numbness should subside within a few days.

Do some exercise and get the blood pumping through your body. That will help temporarily and it may help long term as well.
