I don't know but I'am married(so apparently I do have sex regularly)and have one child but I can't wear even the smallest tampons. Maybe because it is in there for a few hours at a time.

B/C this is completely different and just because a baby may come out of it does not mean we have to shut up about a tampon! And some tampons are alot longer than some mens penis' actually. Go read a book and stop trippin on some tampons!

Most women don't feel them at all if inserted correctly. Also, a tampon is not giving birth and a tampon is not going to be as big as a penis. Giving birth HURTS. Whoever is complaining in your life is probably talking about cramps. I don't "shove" anything into my own vagina - maybe your choice of words could be better.

why does a man think he can answer it first off. Secondly , it's made of a papery material so I guess that might be irritating, but like that woman above said, it's when you use it incorrectly, or you are very tight and you are using a larger tampon. If you use a tampon that is too big for the bleeding you are experiencing it may be uncomfortable.

I don't believe women do except young girls who are new at using the product. They get so nervous they tense up and mentally convince themselves it won't insert. You're right there is no reason to complain. I also wanted to say the same as the other contributor when you said shove that sounds violent or insensative a better choice of word would have been more respectful.

They are uncomfortable sometimes...Best guess, try smaller ones or go back to pads.. Change tampons several times a day..

I think people that complain about them or complain about feeling them are not using them correctly. When used properly they should be your best friend (compared to a pad)

I guess its just coz they are a pain in the ***.
I also feel a bit ripped off that only us women have to deal with it and men dont!

They complain because they haven't put them in correctly. I never have a problem.
