PRACTICE. But when we are trying so hard to do something, we tend to keep doing it the same way. Try many different things, alter clothing, actions, eyes, colors and such details frequently. Is possible that you like what you're doing, but you don't love it yet because you did not yet draw it that way. Keep drawing it until you love it.
Watching and copying a show, might be good for practice. But to keep doing it....and you will only wind up drawing someone else's work.

Personally, I find it important to not only draw anime, but expand your horizons to a broader range of drawing skills. Try drawing from life and studying actual human proportion and movement.
Since anime is, more or less, stylistically an exaggeration of the real human form, it's important to get the actual human anatomy down. It's fun, believe me. :]

Well, soldier,
If you want to be good at anything, you have to practice, practice, practice.
Watch the anime you are drawing on TV. Then analyze what you did differently, and make them match. Repeatedly.
