You don't hope in vain.Kate refused to be reunited with Wills,after he was seen at Charing Cross,(underneath the arches),with one Slabberdasken.
As it transpired,Slapper had asked for a light for his cigarette,which the kind Prince provided.
However,owing to Slapper's reputation,Kate refused to believe the innocent Wills.
All Slapper Slabberdasken received was a lit cigarette!
