good question. its probably fate that you meet but free will if you fall in love. :)

It's fate. If you don't believe me, try running from love. There goes the "free will" theory.

love is an emotion that is uncontrollable in most everyway. for example, you know that first guy you fell in love with? the one you keep telling yourself that you are over? yea... you're not. you'll always feel that way about him (if it was true love anyway, which so few relationships are)

so i would say that love is fate. but not a clean cut fate... more like a soap opera full of twists and turns

Love is a gift and free will allows fate......

i think perhaps both. I think that 2 people (lets use the term soul mates) who are truly destined to be together will be thrown together and then free will must step in. This also , in my personal view, accepts the possibility of re-incarnation. I really think that there are souls who come together life after life after life because they are truly fated to belong to one another.

it is probably either fated free will or destined free will ,there are no slaves in love without choice or it just isn't love.

I think it's fate all the way.

its both!it only becomes free will if during the time that you have it and you see that its not working out and you still choose to stay because you love the person then thats called free will because you have the option of staying or letting it go
