Seriously, that movie Ecks vs. Sever something or another with Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu. All of my friends think I'm crazy. And I also liked Eleckrta (sp?) and the Lion King, too. And I like a lot of kung fu flicks, and I mean the old ones like The Five Deadly Venoms, circa 1964, it's got very corny dub-overs, sound effects, and wire work that makes those movies of that era awesome. And I've watched and enjoyed Lake House, which wasn't technically a chick flick. At least not all the way, it was kind of sci-fi-esce, if there is such a description. Hey, it had time travel or whatever through a mailbox. Now that's just good clean cinematic fun.

Nothing wrong with liking the Lion King - its the last great Disney film before pixar came in - I also love that film.
I also watch Major Payne every time its on tv - not sure how many times I seen it now.
Waterworld isn't as bad as people say - something interesting about it.
But I would have to say the one I don't admit to very often is, the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie - from 1989, the live action one. I also have the cassette soundtrack for it - and listen to it when i have a cassette player available.

Not ashamed to admit I liked it, but cautious
The movie was Soylent Green (with Charlton Heston). A future world where a holocaust had resulted in a totally denuded landscape where nothing grew (animals were extinct) and food was virtually non-existent. The Soylent Company manufactured biscuits containing minerals, vitamins, and proteins. The green biscuits contained the protein, and were the ones in greatest demand, but were rarely available.
Voluntary euthanasia was also encouraged.
Heston discovered that the Soylent Company used the bodies of dead people to manufacture Soylent Green, instead of allowing the bodies to be buried. His last words were "Soylent Green is people!"
This movie was considered a shocker when it came out, the theme tantamount to cannibalism. But being a realist, I found it difficult to condemn. On a denuded planet with a large population and a massive food shortage, who knows how many social niceties will fall by the wayside in favour of pragmatism.
