My hubby had a herniai operation 12 months ago.
Everything went well as far as the operation goes. The reproctions for us have been his non-disire for sex. He is so tottally in love with me but says he just can't get a hard on. Is this norma?

I felt the same when I had surgery, it was nothing to do with my husband just an underlying case of depression that got worse when I had surgery. It is not unheard of but he will need a medical appointment and then counseling if there is no physical reason. ~GL

No this is not normal and has nothing to do with his hernia surgery. He needs to go see the doc to get checked out.

not normal, reparing a hernia has nothing to do with the nerve endings that cause erections or sperm development. could be a decrease in hormone level, not the hernia, but i don't kbnow how old he is or what other issues there are.

No, the operation should not have anything to do with it. It sounds like an excuse.
