allright I am the person to anser this quisjen
if you are home alone and you are under a tornado warning you should not panic
try to remain calm
get to the lowest story in your home if you have no basement then you shold get to the most iner room with no widos
if you live in a moble home abanden it you are in more danger in a moble home then eney where else
now if its is hailing outside you should right away get down to the base ment because the hail means a tornado could be coming
also keep in mind that if it is raining then you may be safe from the tornado becouse tornados need lift and the rain messes that up I have been in 4 tornados and my house has never been dameged by it

Hail doesn't always precede a tornado, but it does provide a clue. The National Weather Service defines a 'severe thunderstorm' as one with 3/4 inch hail or larger. And since most tornadoes form from severe thunderstorms, than your chances of receiving a tornado are higher if the hail is 3/4 inch or larger.....

Hail doesn't always mean a tornado. Signs of a tornado: 1. Greenish looking sky..2. A freight train noise..3. Sirens and wind. If you can't hear the sirens which happens a lot and you don't feel to comfortable, get in a basement and under the stairs. If no basement, then get in the most interior room in your house on the 1st floor and cover your head with your hands and put a pillow between your head and the hands while your head is between your legs with your face looking down. Get in a place with no windows.

In the event of a tornado warning, go to your basement if you have one. Seek safety on an inside wall. If there's a workbench or counter there, climb under it. Stay away from windows. If you have no basement, get into your bathtub & cover up with a small mattress or pillows & blankets. Often times, it hails somewhere when a tornado is touching down somewhere else, but not always.

Hail has nothing to do with a tornado....just get in your basement, take a flashlight, a battery powered radio, and blanket and wait it out....water with you would also be good

Sweety, we can only give you generalized advice. If you live in an area where tornados are common I am sure you can get specific advice from your local police or fire department. We do not know what the best advice for your situation is.
Please, get local advice and educate yourself. Have an emergency supply back pack ready and handy at all times. You can find out what you should have in it on the web.
