Depends what the alternative is. If your in a big city, you will always find a small pizza shop which are almost always better quality and value. I live in Melbourne, and I can tell you that Pizza Hut cant scract a profit with the competition around my area. After 5 years they closed up shop, and good ridence :o)

That's really a matter of personal preference. If you prefer the two hour wait and rude treatment to the other options, you should continue to order from Pizza Hut. You could try talking to the manager, which might or might not help. You could go pick the pizza up yourself, or eat at the restaurant. Or you could try ordering from another pizza place if there is one nearby. Personally, when I want a pizza I don't usually want it in two hours. I usually want it within about a half hour.
There is another explanation for a two hour wait. It could be that you ordered at a particularly busy time and just had to wait your turn. But twice? Not likely unless the urge for pizza hits you at the same time it does everyone else in town.

There should be any number of better pizza shops that will actually do a better job.
Typically they should tell you when to expect it, and let you decide if you want to go ahead or cancel the order.
Also Friday and Saturdays from 5pm-8pm are the worst times to order. This is their peek time. Also if there are major televised sporting events like the SuperBowl, or March Madness.
If they tell you one time, and after 30 minutes past that time, if it hasn't shown up, call and find out what the delay it. Usually they will give you a discount immediately. I try to get people's name immediately when I call so I know who I am talking to and for future reference if I need to file a complaint.
IMO, I would file a complaint with the manager, and then tell them I am taking my business and all my friend's business elsewhere.
In any customer service business, the customer is always right.

The only time I ever go to Pizza Hut is lunchtime, when they have a Buffet, that's when they offer me such a deal that I take it mostly to try and hammer them by trying to eat more food than I paid for....
Like everyone else, I love pizza and would hate to go through your experience, but I am sure if you look in the yellow pages you can find more than a few 'Mom and Pop' pizzerias to support instead of patronizing Big Fast Food... Maybe this kind of treatment is a sign that you could and should.

As A pizza hut employee from Iowa, I want to apologize for this store. I am not sure where you are from or what store u ordered from but it sounds like this is a sub-standard store. Call the 1-800- number that comes on the box your pizza comes in and tell them how u feel. they should be able to get the ball rolling to fix this problem

I understand... it kind of defeats the purpose of ordering out... which is why I make my own. Here ya go! An easy, healthy, cheap recipe straight from my kitchen and in a lot less time than 2 hours (just start keeping everything in stock at home):
1 cup Whole wheat flour, 1 cup unbleached flour, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 teaspoon sea salt, 1 teaspoon raw sugar, and one package yeast mixed with one cup warm water. Combine ingredients together and stir about 20-25 strokes. (Add as much flour as needed to keep from sticking.)
There's your crust.
Of course any of the ingredients can be substituted, or added to.
Top in this order:
Sauce (I make my own from tomatoes, onions, garlic, basil, oregano, thyme, and salt, plus whatever else I feel like adding!), pepperoni, other meats as desired, cheese, veggies, more cheese. I have a gazillion other things I can do to this, too! I don't know if it's ever been done the same way twice! Use your imagination!
Bake in oven at 425 for about 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly! Keep my name with the recipe, and think of me everytime you cook or eat it! Super fabuloso!

Yeah call the number on the box and they will send you coupons also go into the store and speak with the manager. It is his job to know that they suck and need help. Then take your business elsewhere. When I order from The Hut I always pick it up...it saves the delivery charges!

If there's another pizza place that would deliver to your house instead, try that. Otherwise either go into the Pizza Hut to eat instead or try making your own pizza at home.

I had the dumbasses take 4 hours to deliver a pizza to my house!!!! I kept calling and they kept saying they were on their way, trying to find it. They should have given me the crappy thing for free. I NEVER used them again. Papa John's is a much better chain and they are fast.

Not worth the wait. They have mapquest this days, it's not an excuse to get lost. Do you live very far from them?
