I would like to see someone with positive proposals for solving issues. They need to demonstrate leadership, original thinking, and propose an honest effort to solve our problems.
For starters
Be pro American
vow to secure our borders
Corral the illegals and put them to work at minimum wage without benefits or chip them and send them home.
vow to reform our tax code, preferably the flattax as currently written.
Since national security is a valid responsibility of the Federal Government they should vow support for sufficient military to provide that security. That means staying in Iraq. Better to fight them there than here. Those attributes will do for starters.
Vow to support the constitution as written, and particularly the Bill of Rights with emphasis on restoring the tenth amendment.

They must have an Understanding of the World & how our government works. They must work to serve the interests of ALL the American people. And they must be HONEST with the people about all things having to do with those decisions that affect their lives... "To whom the presidency is given- MUCH is expected". :)

Must be willing to go to war pre-emptively and punish the enemy very severly. Must resist socialistic ideas.

Reduce government to it's ORIGINAL intentions! Stop social programs. Honesty. Need I say more?
