High School was never really interesting, so I passed all the classes I needed to graduate. Now that Im going to a Cal State for college Im having trouble picking a major. I really love and into art, but i know being an artist doesn't make enough money; and yet my other interest are science, history, and English. What sums up these kinds of subjects into one great major choice and a highly paid career?

I would agree that you don't want to go into something which makes no money, but I'm not sure that is true in all areas of art, especially things related to design. I don't see a clear area of interest here, so what you need to do is to pick a major you love, make sure that you pick up important skills like writing, and then look for jobs that will make sense for you. Know that your major, unless you choose something very specific like accounting or physics, doesn't matter a lot; many employers only care that you have a college degree.

Look into Communications. That field is about as wide open as any other field, but it's all one major. You can use your Artistic talent and interest to create works of art that will sell a product or make money for a superior. After all the business of communications is all about making money for other people and you learn that in class.

It's really competitive, and I know first hand that you can make a whole lot of money with it. A family member of mine quit a job making 6 figures and now owns a web page that she's about to sell for a few million with royalties.

The history is about as interesting as it gets! and because it's growing so fast, what is currently new will soon be a part of it's history.

Science is in every aspect of it and so is art. Filmography (art), Web design (art + science), Television (Art + Science), Photography (art)...

Seriously look into it!! Good luck!

Well, I would look back at your childhood and find out what did you like to do back then and what are you passionate on doing. What you can enjoy doing, even if the job pays little. If you love doing one thing, no matter what the salary is, just stick with it.
