NO. there was a consumer alert that drinking beer out of these glasses was extremely dangerous. I heard that one guy drank beer of out the 1986 PH Flintstones glass and now insists on shaving with bees trapped in a clam shell and vacuums with a small elephant on a little wheeled dolly. Don't do...it is not safe. I did twice and Yabba Dabba Doo....see, I have no control over it. On Wilma not being on the glass...she held out for more money and Pizza Hut refused to cave in. (bad pun intended)

My husband's favorite cup to drink rum&coke out of is a pink plastic power puff girl cup.
So I imagine the Flinstone glass is A OK for beer.
