I think he is considered a pretty good president even though his presidency was cut short.
It's hard to say if he was great. He supported the Vietnam War, but may have been swayed by a less than honest cabinet, similar to W's problem with Iraq.
JFK, may be more remembered for his youthfulness and courage that captured an America thirsting for something different.

I think he would yes. His policies of tax cuts and the Apollo program, enacted after his death, worked great. Evidence suggests he was going to pull the plug on Vietnam after his 64 re-election. Kennedy and Kruschev were on the same page towards the end about reducing the cold war tensions.
He probably wouldn't be considered as great, because there would be no question about what might have been, as there is now, but he would certainly be thought of as one of the better presidents of the 20th century.

No one will ever know,but i think all this thin about the corruption in his family and the women would have come out. He would not have had the respect he has for being president for such a very short time.

Yeah, he basically got us to the moon, stopped nuclear war when he diffused the Cuban Missle Crises, and was another president that helped win the Cold War.

He wasn't popular at the time of his assassination, was busy trying to drum up support in the south, and would likely not have been reelected.
