Yes, it works, yes it's safe, yes it's very common. Skip the placebo pills and start a new pack. It actually reduces the risks of ovarian cancer.

I've never heard of it but my wife works at a OBGYN clinic and she told me a product called Lybrel will be out soon that is suppose end your period for good if you take it correctly. You might want to look into that. Also Seasonique is a pill designed to give you a period just once every 3 months. Hope this helps.

If you have to...like if your wedding falls on a period day...technically you can. But if you don't want a period as often, ask your Dr. for the birth control pill especially designed for that...like seasonel...only 1 period per 90 days.

yes it does, skip the "blue" pills (may be different color in your pack)and just startright up again on first day of next packand you will skip that period.
do not do this regulalry cause your body needs to bleed, but you can chnage the tming of your period for a vacation, wedding, swim meet etc using this method

I don't know about that...but I don't think it's healthy. Your body needs to expel the lining in your uterus....having a period is a natural thing...it might suck....but it's natural and I don't think it's healthy to try and stop it.

Yes, but I wouldn't recomend doing this. I think it's unnatural not to get it every month.
