James has established himself as a legitimate triple-double threat and has averaged 26.7 points, 6.4 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game for his career. As of the 2006-07 season, he has recorded twelve triple-doubles in his career, with ten in the regular season and two in the postseason. On offense, James utilizes his quickness, size, and strength to get past defenders. When penetrating to the basket James exhibits exceptional body control, adjusting his shot in mid-air according to the defense, allowing him to absorb contact and finish at the basket. In the 2005-06 season, he led the league in completed traditional three point plays. He is a solid rebounder who regularly ranks among the league leaders in rebounds for the small forward position. His overall skill sets and on-court play has led to many comparisons to NBA legends Oscar Robertson, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan. And thats why LeBron is amazing.

Please explain. The guy is the best player on his team, and, gets all of the attention. He is an explosive dunker but that's it. I'm not sure why he's "amazing". I'm not sure why you ask about his being amazing. Amazing is scoring 10, 12, 15 points in as many seconds. Amazing is Akeem/Hakeem Olajuwon 1992-1996.Amazing is Oscar Robertson averaging a triple double for the season, Amazing is Jordans 63 points aginst the Celts in the playoffs. Amazing is Vince Carter dunking. Amazing is Wilts100 points in a game, Wilts averaging 50 for the year. Amazing is not becuase broadcasters say so, amazing is action! Never seen before action! The stuff LeBron does has been and is done year after year. Whats amazing to me is that we (people) think he's better than everyone else. please!

For being a young talent, he is quite amazing. It took Jordan a few years to win a championship, but he did it with PIPPEN!! Lebron's just gotta find another key role player to help him out... if you look at all the championship teams they never had just one good player take them all the way... Spurs have Duncan, but also have good role players and one of the best guards in the game in Parker... leading your team all the way to the Finals... Lebron is pretty amazing... and he'll work on becoming even more in years to come.

He just me the main man for the NBA for years to come. But the way everyone is talking up Greg Oden, there may be a new guy the NBA is taking a look at to drive that bus. No matter, LeBron is going to have an outstanding career.

I wouldnt call him amazing...you should save superlatives like that for guys who are in the hall or shoo ins for the hall... guys who have elevated the play of those around them to championship level, or even higher...repeat champions...lebron is a very good player with potential to be better...he will have to leave that dungeon (Cleveland where no championship professional sports teams reside) or have that coach fired in order to get closer to the ring...

He is amazing yea he got shut down against the spurs but it was like 2v5.. Lebron and Gibson vs all the spurs. if you noticed Bowen never took lebron 1v1 there was always someone else there. like duncan for example. He had struggle at the line but he will improve in the offseason. and he is a clutch performer did you see him score the last 25 points for the cavs 48 pts total in double overtime vs Detroit. Yea he didnt do to good against spurs but then again he doenst have much of a supporting cast like Jordan did.

There's no excuse for getting shut down by Bowen and the Spurs.

Great scorers rise above the guys like Bowen and their double and triple teams and still find the basket.

Once he's mastered the art of knocking down big shots against quality D, then maybe call him 'amazing'.

For now, 'strong prospect for super-stardom' is more appropriate.

T-Mac... 13 points in 35 seconds... amazing!

Getting shut down by the Spurs is tough. But he helped his team in the 5th game of the Eastern Conference Finals (Cavs Vs. Pistons). It took almost everything he had to get him and his team back in the game. He is GREAT.
