Fam have invited me to go see some fireworks, but I feel they are too loud for the babies, I think I'm better off staying home.?

Stay home. The babies get nothing good out of late night fireworks which will mess with their sleep schedule and possibly scare and upset them.

I don't think fireworks are appropriate for babies so young. The loud sounds will freak them out.

Always go with your first thought. It is too loud for the babies. Start a new tradition at home with your babies.

Stay home because at that age babies startle easily

yes, you are correct in you thinking, that kind of noise can inter-fer with their hearing. i too have twins, i had to miss a few outings until my twins got old enough to take to different functions. think of your twins first. your friends and their activities can wait, if they can't then they aren't your friends.
