sorry two questions in one! if you know one that would be great!
i had shorts over it and forgot it was on =/ now my crotch is kinda red. it doesnt hurt like really bad but it just feels like its burning and raw? and i think it smells a little? what should i do? should i tell my mom or is it no big deal and will it go away on its own?
and another thing, how do you pronounce dior, like as in christian dior? is it like "dee-or" or "die-or" or something else? lol.

A. Tell your Mom ....then try washing and put some vaseline on ....if it doesn't get better ....try some yeast infection medication over the counter.

It is dee-or. It is probably nothing but a rash, like a baby gets diaper rash from wearing a wet diaper too long. Try some baby powder, corn start, or even a diaper rash cream. If it doesn't clear up and it has a really bad smell you should go to the doctor. No matter what the problem may be you should tell you mom. She will probably know what to do.

you slept in a bathing suit? NOT GOOD. Leaving your bathingsuit can cause yeast infections! You should tell your mom, she might have to take you to the doctor before it gets any worse.

I am sure you will be fine. But you usually do not want to wear a bathing suit for an extended period of time. The fabric is not breathable. There could have just been some chafing, or you got sweaty. Next time, sleep in shorts or cotton panties (as others have suggested) and I am sure you will be fine. Try that for a few days, and if it doesn't get better, then you can tell your mom.

sleeping in wet suit can cause yeast infection
just wash well with soap and hot water, put on clean COTTON (breathable) panties to air out area and you should be fine
if it turns into a yeast infection (can happen and youll know cause it will start to itch and produce a yellowish and whitish discharge) you may need to get some over the counter medication so tell your mom if this happens

It sounds like you've got a yeast infection. It's nothing serious, but tell your mom and have her get you some Monistat.
