Did you know that "Love Me Do" was the only song that they recorded with their original drummer Pete Best - but their producer, George Martin didn't think he was good enough, and that's when Pete was booted out of the Beatles, and Ringo stepped in. Being a HUGE Beatle fan, I often wonder how Pete Best must feel after all these years. Not to mention the idiot at Decca Records who turned The Beatles down for a recording contract saying " guitar groups are on their way out" ( I bet he's kicked himself in the butt more than once !)
