Just wondering, because the last one I watched, she did, but I was always told to start on my right, but maybe that doesn't include paso doble?

In American ballroom ladies pretty well start all dances on the right, but in International that doesn't hold, and many figures start on the left. And that isn't just for Paso. The Standard dances, too, may start on either foot.

It can start on either foot, depending what step do you start with. Is there a particular step you're talking about?
