Normally not because you must be able to sign a legal contract to rent a room, which you can't do until you are adult (18+)

While most of the people here are correct there may be some exceptions to this rule. Your Visa debit may be sufficient...

1. Get your parents or friends that you know that are over 18 to co sign on a credit card account for you and make sure your name is on it.

2. 18 may not apply if you are an emancipated minor

3. Some hotels accept a cash contract

4. Make some phone calls and ask the hotels what their policy is.

All the hotels I've been at you have to be at least 18 to rent the room.

On hotels.com, adults are listed as 19+. On orbitz, it's 18-64. Good luck though.

most require 18yrs of age unless accompanied by an adult you can ask the hotel at time of reservation.

Best bet would be to try a non chain motel and offer to pay cash.
