Stairway to Heaven has that effect on me too - just when the real world comes back in it's a really nasty shock!
Also get that with Relayer - Yes & Have a Cigar - Pink Floyd - some of the more recent artists are getting near to that feeling too - but not quite!!

The theme from Franco Zefferelli's Romeo and Juliet.
I hum it at least 12 times a day.

Cristopher Cross "Sailing"......it's kinda cheesey, but sooo relaxing. In fact, the bridge of the song has "take me away" in it!
Also, Sade songs have the same effect.

"There Is" by Boxcar racer.
I love this part of the song:
"Those notes you wrote me, i've kept them all, I've givin' alot of thought of how to write you back this fall, with every single letter in every single word there will be a hidden message about a boy that loves a girl."
The song is about a guy on vacation and during the long drive he thinks about all the goodtimes he had with his girlfriend.
