I'm a huge fan of two genres, now relatively obscure, of rock music (late 80's - early 90's): 1. "Brit Pop," which includes The Stone Roses and the Charlatan U.K. 2. "Shoe Gazer," which includes My Bloody Valentine and the first Catherine Wheel album. For ten points, can you name the band which fits under both categories?

Gepetto: A good guess, and probably accurate, but not who I was thinking of. The Verve came a little bit after the height of Brit Pop and Shoegazer.

Ride? They started out shoegazer and became more Britpop.
