It's a really cute avatar, why not leave it like that.

change ur password if you think someone else did this. oh to change the gender back Go to the My Avatar page at http://avatars.yahoo.com.
Click the "Preferences" tab.
Select the desired gender in the "Change My Avatar's Gender" section.

if you want to change it back heres what you do:
1)go to 'my profile" page
2)select change my info
3)go to the heading 'picture' and select "edit my yahoo avatar"
4)then on the top right hand corner there in little blue writing it says preferences, click on it
4)then it will take you to a screen that say "Preferences" under that the first heading should be "Change My Avatar's Gender" with a button near it that says change. click that and your changed back.

Maybe retrace your steps. Think about what you did to make that happen. Or just restart your avatar

It's female, but when you click on your question you turn back to male.
