It is not the idea that we can /could be a better President. the fact is Bush has promised so much but has given very little to his promises. He has made some bad choices that have hurt everyone. We all make mistakes but he is the ruler over many things concerning Us . I would never want to be a ruler over anything because I would be in the same category as Bush is now. He can talk the talk but he can't walk the walk...

I don't think too many presidents get the respect they deserve... As long as I have been alive I can't remember one president that did not get messed with by the press.... I mean I am a republican but I have to admit President Clinton did some great things, Ronald Reagan was awesome but you will always find people that will look for the bad... We have people like Rush limbo that just stir the pot... You are right not too many people could do that job!!!

I wonder the same thing. No matter who is the president of the U.S, there is always going to be people who do not like him/her. So far, the only thing I truely do not agree with that he has done, is the immagrant policy he tried to put into place. I have no problem with people wanting to come to the U.S to become citizens as long as they go through the right channels and make an effort in learning english. But if they are here illegally, they need to go. Shot the ones coming across the boarder and run from the athurities.

The same reason that people don't respect ANY president while in office. They're lightening rods for critisism about just about any problem that people are having whether they have anything to do with it or not.
People LOVE Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton now. Even Jimmy Carter and the First George Bush are treated like celebrities now that they're out of office.
Make my words, five years after GW gets out of office he'll be treated like a rock star.

I think most people have respect for Bush, I voted for him and would do so again. But he does make mistakes I was against going into Iraq I thought we should have stayed after Bin Laden . And I was against the immingration bill but I still must admire the man he stood up for his believes and didn't back down. And I sure was glad to see Bill Clinton gone. If you ask me to choose between a man of morals and a man of no morals I'll take GEORGE BUSH everytime.

JFK's corpse could do a better job than Bush ever will. lol
Hold on while I go to New Orleans and find a juju lady so she can bring JFK back to life and he can run this country the right way. Even if we have a flesh eating zombie pres on the loose, at least it will be better than having a laughing stock of a pres that is penile envy obsessed. :)
I'm off to watch Comedy Central's new cartoon Lil Bush now hahaha.

Because most people don't realize that the president doesn't do what he wants, congress and senate have to give the go ahead. He's just a figure head to take the sh*t when things go bad and reap the rewards when things go well. I don't feel much different about him than some that I have voted for.

1. No he isn't. He's a brilliant business man who uses the media as a weapon to get his way. Also, the cabinet that he chose is corrupt and believes that they are above the law.
2. Using the argument "none of you could do better as president than him" is an immature response.

Well I think most people don't respect him because every time he speaks he seems illiterate!
He is supposed to represent our people and he kinda gives the impression that we are all a bunch of red necks. Not that I have anything against rednecks...I was born in goergia. My whole family is from Murphy/ Andrews North Carolina, Little tiny mountain towns full of great people.
