Yesterday I heard a comment about Democrat failed tax and spend policies and wondered why Republican failed borrow and spend on Corp welfare policies are better?

Cutting corporate taxes is not spending on corporations. Can you tell me who Mister K-mart is? Mr. K-Mart is the people who work for the company, the people who buy from the company and shareholders who finance the company. If you raise taxes, all the above people will suffer. Seems a pretty good thing to me if we lowered corporate taxes. CEO's do not pay corporate taxes no matter how much we may envy their wealth.

Giving people money isn't bad, but, stealing from others to do it, is. Those people who money was solen from could be using it to employ people and buying goods and services.

The Democrats want to spend money on social programs INTENDED to help the poor. But I have witnessed first hand how many such programs often take away a poor persons motivation to get ahead.

The Republicans are ACCUSED of "corp welfare" but what they actually do is to try to lesson the extreme tax burdens on corperations so they can afford to open more plants, introduce new products, expand businesses which would result in MORE EMPLOYMENT.

And wouldn't that be the best thing for the poor people?

Corporations are one of the main reasons our country is doing so well. I don't think they should be spending much on either. Encourage charities and private people to take care of the poor, they do a lot better than government workers. Let corporations stand on their own - which is what I think the reps do, if they don't they should.

Both parties are giving out too much welfare (social and corporate) to too many people and groups.

give a man a fish, he'll eat today,
teach a man to fish, he'll eat forever.
WHATS WRONG WITH THAT APPROACH?
