and so is David Lee Roth
They are both different
Freddie was a lead singer first and then a showman and David was a showman first and lead singer second
I have always said "last night went to see the David Lee Roth show and a Van Halen concort broke out in the middle of it"

Steven Tyler is definitely the greatest frontman. EVER. He has so much charisma and energy, and he has things like his big sexy lips and his scarves on his microphone, and his amazing screaming voice. Mick Jagger and Freddie Mercury were good, but Steven is just AMAZING. =]

Gotta go with Diamond David Lee Roth in his heyday.. guess now he's a shell of what he was. Robert Plant still kicks ***, too.. Tyler is definitely up there. I'll say top 5 at least, cuz I loves me some Freddie Mercury, too!

Ahem...Jim Morrison? How can you not consider him? HE WAS THE BAND! Any front man that is the only reason a band exists has to be considered one of the greatest frontmen. Steven Tylor is damn good and I do not think the band could continue without him. I prefer Jim Morrison, though.
