Im pretty sure that if barcelona were champions league winners or league champions Thierry would have stayed at Arsenal...why?
Because he likes to challenge of bringing new joy to Barca fans, but also because it would be less pressure for him by demanding him to win the champions and league again...

it doesn't matter what the situation is in barcelona. henry left because of the uncertainty of arsenal's direction. he was worried that the arsenal board is not matching the club's football ambitions.
when dein left, it was time for him to go. perhaps wenger is next.

Thierry Henry went to Barcelona because Barcelona offered Arsenal all that money. It's a good deal for Arsenal. If Panathanaikos would have offered the same amount, or more he would have gone there. It's between the Clubs and the players agents. What's Thierry Henry got to do with it?

Disagree totally. The challenge of league titles and European titles is far harder to achieve at Arsenal than at Barcelona, so if he did so desire that challenge, surely he would have stopped with the Gunners. No, he's gone for the better team and the bigger chance of success. As most would.

He would have gone if they had won Champions League & Title in Spain.
I think he wanted to go last year but decided to give it another year at Arsenal to try it.
Good luck to him I say & thank him for his time & the great times that he brought to Arsenal in his 8 years there.

No I don't think you're right.I think he would have still left Arsenal.It was obvious he has been unsettled there for the past six months.I think he has become disillusioned with English Football.Probably it wa Barcelona because it was the best deal,not necessarily the most money but the overall deal.Sorry to disagree with you but you did ask for opinions.!

Henry chose Barca because of the football they play, and their staduim. I dont think its because of all the money. He made a good decision, but part of me still think he should've stayed in Arsenal. And its okay if no new names in Arsenal next season, they still have many good players.

David Dein's departure was a huge impact
But knowing that arsene Wenger would not extend his contract I think was the final nail in the coffin

no he should of left arsenal last season he wasted one of his few good years hes got left hopfully justice will be done and he wins player of the year coz at arsenal he was overlooked for players in spain or italy good luck henry you deserve some silverware that you wouldnt of got staying at arsenal

well...henry is the best footballer epl ha seen in last 8 yrs...hes won allmost everythin....he left arsenal coz he was promised that dey wud buy sum stars which thhey didnt...moreover dein left....so wud wengerr and cesc...so he left to barca
