-Van Cortland Park in The Bronx -->
Moshulo Parkway Sta. - take Elevated 4 Line/downtown-->
at 161st Street Sta.- switch to
4 Line/Express Manahattan-->
at Union Square Sta.-switch to
6 Train to Bleeker Sta.-->
at Bleeker Sta. switch to
D Train via 59th Street & Sunset Park-->
at 9th Avenue Sta. (10 minute Delay stop)--do not get off
Continue on D Train via Borough Park & Bensonhurst-->
arrive Stillwell Avenue Sta./Coney Island (end of D Line)

Huge fan of the movie. Read the book too, which wasn't as good. And I'm really frustrated right now that I can't remember the subway lines, other than I think they eventually got on the D train for the final stretch ("Is this what we tried so hard to come back to?" . . . "Warriors, come out and play-ay"). I actually went to high school across the street from Van Cortland Park, and took the 1 train, but I think they took the 4 to get there.

Don't know the route, but LOVE LOVE LOVE the movie. We recently purchased it on DVD. We love that movie and so do our kids.
