Everyone needs a compass. Or not?

A compass is peculiar thing.
It doesn’t tell you which way to go.
It just gives you direction.
Which ever way you go,
you will follow its direction.
Yet, it didn’t tell you to go that way.
It just gave you the direction.
So when you stumble and wander about on your course.
Don’t blame it on the compass,
it only gave you the direction you chose.
The obstacles and the detours are not its fault.
It is widely held that we all have a moral compass
But, just like any compass, it only gives direction
The way you go is your choice
The compass only shows the direction you chose to go.
If ‘tis the wrong way, its not the fault of the compass
It’s the way you chose to go.
Machines don’t instruct, they only inform.
If you find that the going is rough,
remember,
it was you who chose the terrain
on which to apply them.
It was you who designed and built them.
Machines always inform you of their suitability,
by their failure,
but they never tell you how to correct the problems,
that is for you to do.

Love is the North of my life. Wherever I go, My life compass always points in that direction. And the compass I'm talking about is my heart.

North is as far as I can understand spiritually - infinite, understandable only when I am able to release everything I THINK I know. South is as low as I can go morally. I keep myself well above that line or I will no longer be pure enough to explore the north of me. I will be caught in the riptide of the physical - what we THINK is "the real" - and I will be swept away forever to abosolute NOTHING.

my intellect is the sunset of the west,
when my life seems to be misdirected to south..
i remember the uplifting memory of the past,
the friends & lovedones i have & lost,
the north will always be where my longing heart leads me.
