They are held at your local Borders, Barnes and Noble, and Walmart stores! You can pre-order the book at any of those stores. Check out their sites to find the nearest location and more information about the release parties!

Any Major book stores, can hold a release party.
They should have refreshments there to.
(Also, it might be a costume party)

Scheulers and Barnes and Nobles are having one. I think Borders might be too. Basically any local big bookstore-- mostly the chains
