The best way of preventing pregnancy is abstinence base on the all books in maternal and child health. In cases of condom its only giving you 50% chances of keeping you safe from pregnancy unless you add using spermicide then it will give you about 70 - 80% chances of getting pregnant. I hope i imparted to you some facts with regards to contraceptives. Take care.

Yes!
Condoms are only 85% effective which means they are 15% ineffective!!!!
Which mean out of every 100 woman every year using condoms 85 do NOT get pregnant and 15 DO!
Also I have gotten pregnant TWICE while using condoms.
Once with my daughter and now I am 9 weeks and 5 days pregnant with my second child!!!!

It is absolutely still possible though not probable. If you are asking this question then I advice you to call into a reputable organization such as planned parenthood or go have a chat with your doctor. It is vital that you educate yourself.
This is the most grown up activity that you will ever engage in and no one but you can take care of your body. The consequences of not making the right decision are life altering. Search deep inside and make sure that you are true to yourself, not trying to please your boyfriend.
Be your own best friend and don't be afraid to wait for the right person.

yes. a condom is by no means a secure method of birth control. There are much better methods of birth control available and you should look into them if you want more auurance that you will not get pregnant. Call your doctor or planned parenthood.

Read that little thing on the back that says they are only 70% effective. That means 30% of the time they dont work.
Im not a math Genius but to me it means if 100 girls go out and have sex, 30 of them will get pregnant if they all use condoms. Assuming we are talking about 100 girls that could get pregnant.

Latex condoms can provide up to 98-99 percent protection against pregnancy and most STDs, including HIV infection, but only if they are used consistently and correctly.
A hole, not being rolled up all of the way, improper removal after sex...all of these human imperfections make condoms NOT 100% safe.

The only thing that keeps you 100% pregnancy free is abstinance. Use a condom plus another form of birth control(the pill's pretty common).

Yes, if it breaks, falls off, or isn't on correctly. Always use a back up form of birth control, and while condoms are 99% effective, they aren't full proof.
