Wow! Where do you people come up with these tough questions? It is really hard to choose here. I'd say Roy Campanella is # 1. Tough as nails, called a great game, and hit like furry. Johnny Roseboro, too, but he didn't have quite the bat. Mike Scioscia was a great all round catcher. Mike Piazza was all right as a catcher, but hit! That man could HIT!

I really liked Piazza, and if it makes a difference, I'm a Giants Fan. He is the only Dodger who has never been a Giant that I like, well except for Tommy Lasorda, you gotta love him. And I'm not just saying that because he was on the Baseball Bunch

Piazza was the best hitting catcher ever, but Campanella was an all-around better player at that position.
Campanaella won three MVPs, so I would give him the nod.

Out of your choices, Mike Piazza, but I'd say Paul Lo Duca

Defensively it's an easy choice, Campenella.
Same offensively, Piazza.
All around, I'd give the nod to Campy.

Mike Scioscia is my favorite. He was solid defensively and offensively. Not a flashy player, just showed up everyday and played hard, played to win. He was terrific.
