don't listen to dolts who say all ram can be upgraded. the first answer you got would have gotten you there - checking with Crucial.com is always good.

You can almost always upgrade, you can add RAM to empty slots, or you could switch out for a larger stick (depending on how much your motherboard can handle) Most likely you'll have a slot or two for more RAM open.
