That's just a myth. The cape in bullfighting is red for theatrics and for the crowd to see. What sends the bull into a rage is the way the matador taunts him.

Thats actually a myth, red makes them no more angry than any other color.
Its merely because the matador is taunting the bull, and if youve ever sat in a live bullfight, youd know why the bull was angry.

Bulls do NOT charge because a Matador's cape is red. They charge because of the movement of the cape.

They are somewhat color blind -- It isn't the color attracting them, it's the motion.
The color red was so the spectators watching from up in the stands could see the flashy red cloth and enjoy it.
